Hey there!! Welcome back to The Style Chron!! Today we are bringing back “5 Friday Faves,” to share with you. These are our Top 5 most liked, talked about and favorited fashion & style items on the blog, Instagram & YouTube.

Link are listed below in the blue highlighted font.

FAUX LEATHER PILLOW COVERS, SET OF 4, $24.95 | WHITE FUZZY PILLOW COVERS, SET OF 2, $18 | BIKE SHORTS, TTS, $49 | STRUCTURED WHITE BLAZER, $78 | OVERSIZED TUNIC, $68

    1. FAUX LEATHER PILLOW COVERS

These faux leather pillow covers were the perfect suggestion. I asked via Instagram Stories what color throw pillows I should choose. I got so many great answers!! Several of my friends suggested I look for something in a light tan faux leather. AND, that was so right!!! It was a color that I hadn’t thought of and just right to add to my living room couches.

These pillow covers come as a set of 4 for $24.95. I ordered two packs and just popped them over my existing throw pillows. They zip up with a hidden zipper and the quality is great for faux leather!

    2. WHITE FUZZY PILLOW COVERS

These fuzzy white pillow covers are so fuzzy and soft they are dreamy. They replaced a white velvet pillow cover on a large center pillow on my couch. I just needed to add some texture in a less wintery way and they were perfect for that swap out. They come as a set of 2 and there are multiple colors available.

    3. BIKE SHORTS

Bike Shorts all the still going strong! They are such an easy piece to wear. Like leggings, just more leg. I love a black biker short with a tee shirt and sneakers, or a white button down and a mule. There are so many ways to style them since they are so versatile and fun to wear. These have side pockets and are such great quality. Mine are over 2 years old and they are holding up so well.

Get ready to see these at least once a week throughout the summer!!!

    4. WHITE STRUCTURED BLAZER

This week’s blazer is more structured and nipped in than the oversized white blazer featured last week. They both are great picks, just two totally different options. I swap out fits in blazers when I seek a different vibe. Sometimes I just want a more tailored, professional look, or maybe I just need that pop of a gold button to work against the puffiness of an oversized shirt!!

Good rule of thumb is the game of OPPOSITES! When your styling, it’s often the most opposite piece that will pull your outfit together! Think all black outfit, brown shoe. Or all white outfit, pop of fuchsia shoe. Another example of this would be a dressy dress and sneakers. So in the case, I am pairing this snugger fitted jacket with an oversized tunic. It would be too much to pair it with an oversized blazer.

    5. OVERSIZED TUNIC

Structured collared Tunics and Button Up Shirts are great style. They are just great style! The structured collar is classic and effortless. It adds polish to everything. Try pairing a collared tunic or button up to a pair of summery denim shorts and once again the rule of Opposites applies. They just look good together! They shouldn’t, but they do!!!

This tunic is a pretty blue color with a little taupe pinstripe. It is VERY oversized with a generous fit throughout. Even the small was ginormous on me, but it is a look that I think will pair well with a structured blazer for work or a pair of bike shorts for the weekend.

When you wear oversized shirts and tops, I would recommend applying the rule of opposites and wear a more streamlined, sleeker fitted pair of slacks or jeans. Skinny fits would work best. Tuck in and puff out or half tuck to create a waistline.
